Nurturing a network of food growers to share what they do around growing in order to understand more about one another’s growing activities, help and support each other and share expertise. A starting point for this could be simply joining up established communication channels and sharing them more widely. Some initial ideas are tool sharing, supporting each other’s events including volunteers, connecting new growers with experienced allotment growers, seed saving and sharing, contributing to the Weymouth Tree Strategy, and generally collaborating to share successes and challenges (e.g. how to grow in drier, warmer and wetter conditions).
